The Daily Nugget is now banned in China! Yes, it is a rite of passage for any reputable news organization to be banned in China, and now The Nug is too. And it is just a crappy blog! My friend Benson Tran, who lives in Beijing, says he can no longer access the site because the site, or me, angered a Chinese official. Kick ass! |

Turns out that just by being a blog you are likely to get banned, but covering any pro-Tibet rallies or activities will too. So I guess my blog is guilty as charged on both counts.

Yeah, I guess it’s only banned in Beijing. I take it that the country’s firewalls are regional or something. The site is definitely blocked from Beijing. Weird.

Did the chinese government start using your server as a spam bot? This site is slower than an unopened jar of molasses in the fridge!
Oh yeah….congrats too!
