Eric & Danielle Marked for Elimination

In this episode, teams made their way from Malaysia to Hong Kong. Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong must be the New York to Boston connection in Southeast Asia, because most flights there were booked. Danny & Oswald hustled to get on the first flight, the Beauty Queens and the Schminas got on the second flight, and Eric & Danielle trailed three hours behind on the third flight. At this point, I thought for sure that they were gone.

Luckily for them, this was a non-elimination leg and they were able to stay in the race. The producers edited the leg to build up tension, but everybody knew that even with all of Charla & Mirna’s mistaked that Eric & Danielle were really far behind them. Still, through the magic of editing they almost made it look close. We’ll have to wait for next week to see who’ll be in the final three.

Here are the highlights from this week’s episode:

  • “We’re not expecting to be their best friends” said the Beauty Queens of Eric & Danielle, the team they yielded on the last episode.
  • “Charla and I coined a new phrase, ‘yield karma’” said Mirna of the Beauty Queens yielding Eric & Danielle, as if foreshadowing a beatdown that the Beauty Queens will suffer at the hands of Eric & Danielle. Here it comes!
  • Danny & Oswald went down a hallway to the Malaysian Airlines employee office while the Beauty Queens waited in front of the ticket counter for an agent. Team Cha Cha Cha was able to get on the Malaysian Airlines standby list in front of all the other teams. The funniest part of this is that there was a sign that read, “T-Shirts, sweat shirts, casual jeans, shorts, joggers, sandals, slippers, shoes without socks, as not permitted in company premises. Please use formal attire.” Well, Danny & Oswald were wearing t-shirts and shorts. Haha.
  • Oswald & Danny, who were first on the standby list for both flights, gave their standby group number to Charla & Mirna when they got on the first flight. So, although the Beauty Queens were first to the airport, they were second or worse on both standby lists. They were pissed! Too bad, they should have waited at the staff office not the counter. Eric & Danielle, again, were the teams bumped off the flight and were now three hours behind the other teams. At this point, things didn’t look good for Eric & Danielle.
  • “I can climb up ladders and stuff” said Charla as if foreshadowing the climb she would later do. Charla was totally able to complete the Kung Fu Detour and looked like they had fun doing it. Kick ass!
  • One of the Beauty Queens kicked a stuntman during the Kung Fu challenge. Pretty funny. Mirna did the same thing later, but I didn’t find it as funny because she’s an evil fake bitch.
  • Danny & Oswald spent their last 20 Hong Kong Dollars at the last toll booth heading to the Pit Stop. They would still have money if Danny hadn’t bought all those newspapers in the last episode.
