Zooomr is giving free Pro Accounts to bloggers for one year by following these simple instructions. Above is a picture of my old VW Jetta that I used in order to get things started there. If you have a blog, like to share pictures, and don't already have a flickr account, this may be a great idea. I personally think that I am way too invested with Flickr to make the change. Big ups to Jimmy for sending me the link.

And what a great looking Jetta it is. Thanks for joining Zooomr!
Tom
hi, reading about wrist surgery and came across your posting. i broke my left wrist 11/4 , the ulna was fractured and the radius shattered. i also have a plate and screws, i do not know how many but my surgery was 12/5. it is very painful and i am miserable. i am a very active woman and it is killing me. i can not bake, cook, nothing for the upcoming holiday season. please tell me how long were you out of work? i am weaning myself off pain meds a little at a time. i plan on going 1/2 day on wednesday to see how i do. i will be driven to work and i will be on light clerical duty. any advice you can give me would be so appreciated. thank you.
Sorry to hear about your broken wrist, Geri. As I remember, the first three days after my surgery were excruciating and the whole first week was just awful. In my case, I was partially back at work after one week.
Please keep in mind that I have a desk job that simply requires that I type to work and I was working from home. I was completely off pain meds after the 12th day and back at work 100% after two weeks with light travel to my office.
Also, please keep in mind that at the time of my surgery, I was a very active 32-year-old, so your mileage may vary. I hope this helps and get well soon.
