Pink Hoes Eliminated

In this episode, teams made their way from Munich, Germany to Palermo, Italy on the island of Sicily. They needed to go to the famous Palermo Opera House, of Godfather III fame, to find their next clue. At the start of the leg one thing was clear to me: I really don’t like the Hippies, BJ & Tyler. Their antics and attempts to be funny are killing me. Again, I repeat, they must die.

Teams arrived in Palermo and went to the Detour and then the Roadblock, where a Yield was available. The Old Farts were the story of this race. Why is it that old people on the race always miss the clue boxes? The clue boxes are bright yellow and red you blind geezers!

The Laundry task was easy for team members that pulled clothing off the line as they went along. Then there were the Nerds, who were initially pinning the clothes back onto the line after they inspected them. Are they retarded? It was only after other teams arrived that they realized they could just simply pull the articles of clothing off the line.

The Nerds broke down at the Roadblock because Lori couldn’t figure out that two pieces were not to be used. She broke into tears trying to figure out where those two extra pieces went instead of asking the guides for help. Had she done that earlier she would have received the clue. Instead she assembled, disassembled, and reassembled the statue, three times before asking for the clue. Sad.

The Pink Hoes were lagging behind the entire leg when they were yielded by the Nutty Dentist. Even though the Pink Hoes were ahead of the Token team, they were still yielded. One of the Hoes couldn’t figure out that the statue’s penis was upside down. I mean, you would think they would know which way the fig leaf faces, if you know what I mean. Ultimately, the statue’s penis was their downfall. The Token team caught up and passed them on the way to the Pit Stop. Sadly, had they not been yielded the Tokens would have gone home.

Episode Stats and Predictions

Roadblock: Who is good at piecing things together? One team member needed to assemble a classical Greek statue without knowing that there are two excess pieces to the statue that will not be used.

Detour: Foundry or Laundry. In Foundry, teams needed to move a 110 pound church bell from one location to another. In Laundry, teams had to search 2400 pieces of laundry for just 1 of 16 marked items of clothing.

Fast Forward: None.

Yield: Yes. Lake & Michelle yielded the Pink Hoes.

Pit Stop: Tempio de Segesta, Segesta, Italy.

Funniest Moment: Lake & Michelle (Team Nutty Dentist) heading to the Pit Stop from the parking lot instead of towards the Roadblock. They asked the old Farts

Smartest Play: The Hippies getting the last seats to Palermo on the first flight by using the Internet.

Dumbest Play: Lake & Michelle (Team Nutty Dentist) heading to the Pit Stop from the parking lot instead of towards the Roadblock.

Next Team to Be Eliminated: The Nerds.

Pick to Win: The Jocks.
