While Fabian's gone, I'm going to help out here with a little political nugget. I case you haven't noticed, I'm not a fan of our circus monkey commander in chief. So, I wanted to make sure everyone knows about
Going Upriver: The Long War of John Kerry, a documentary loosely based on the book
Tour of Duty by Douglas Brinkley that examines the story of John Kerry and the key events that made him a national figure and the man he is today. This is a documentary by George Butler, who also made
Pumping Iron (featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger) and
The Endurance: Shackleton's Legendary Antarctic Expedition. I haven't seen it yet (going tonight though!) so I can't yet defend it from right-wingers who'll say it's pro-Kerry propoganda, but I have a feeling that George Butler is not going to let me down with a cheap propoganda film.
Vote on November 2nd!!
