MTV is going to make a movie about the life of Shawn Fanning, founder of Napster. It may be pretty interesting to hear the story from the horse’s mouth, since Fanning may star in the movie as himself.

  1. That sounds great…I’d like to hear what he has to say about file sharing. Fanning is God.

  2. A life story? Please. I might watch it if I was suffering from insomnia…as a sleeping aid. Oh, but I don’t get cable. Whew.

  3. I agree. The life story of a 21 year-old is a bit of an oxymoron. I am interested to hear about the dot-com excess than went on at Napster. I went to a Napster party once with Dennis and it was pretty dope. Actually it was a music dot-com party which included Napster, Mp3.com, and Listen.com. I can’t believe those other two sites are still up!?
