great pics…so what kind of camara did you use? I especially like the shots that were taken at night. what was exposure time? aperature setting? film speed and brand? or have you gone digital? great shots!!!

I used a Canon Powershot G2 digital camera, with a Lensmate filter extension, a UV filter, and a circular polarizer.
The night shots varied in exposure times from 1.6 to 6 seconds depending on conditions and usually were at the camera’s full aperture setting of f2. The pictures taken from the top of the John Hancock Observatory were taken behind glass so those had the longest exposure times–6 seconds.
As a side note the camera was propped against railings, glass, poles, or whatever was available to keep it steady as I did NOT carry a tripod.

Hey, who is this John guy who keeps on posting? Is this someone we know? Have I met him. I’m getting old and losing my memory. BTW, great pics. If I didn’t know you I’d think you just scanned some postcards…
